Family and friends support

Resources to support you while you're supporting others.

As a family member, friend or colleague, you might be the first to notice changes in the mood and/or behaviour of someone close to you. You may also be the first to get them help and support them through their recovery.

Urgent help

Non urgent help

Whether you are a parent, sibling, child, partner, grandparent or carer, your support will be crucial to your friend or loved one’s motivation to seek help and assist in their recovery. You can also help show and reinforce that they’re not alone.

In supporting the mental health and wellbeing of your family member, friend or colleague, you will have your own unique needs and challenges as a carer.
